Relocating to Anderson, IN -pros and cons?

I relocated for work and Homes are going for about $104,300 on average. Household incomes average around $47,221 in Anderson. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The city has invested a lot in new development. Any help is appreciated.

I've lived in Riverside for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from Boston, I was surprised by outdoor recreation. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Strong job market in several industries
- Lots of new development happening
- The job market scene is average

The downsides:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Dating scene is rough

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for couples. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are average, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.
