Things that make Anderson unique
Hey folks, I've been here for 20 years and Rent is about $909/month for a decent place. Median household income is $47,221, which feels on the lower side for the area. The unemployment rate is 4.3%, which is about average. Average temperature is around 53--F, so expect cold winters. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Any advice would be great. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
