Thinking about relocating to Anderson from Sacramento
Anyone else feel this way? We're a young couple and With a population of 29,563, Anderson is a smaller city. Median household income is $44,321, which feels on the lower side for the area. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The weather takes some getting used to. What do you all think? Looking forward to hearing from you all. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Property taxes are high but you get good services. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years.
