Weekend activities in Andover?

Hey, I've been here for 19 years and Household incomes average around $131,528 in Andover. Average temperature is around 44--F, so bundle up in winter. The unemployment rate is 1.8%, which is pretty low. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. I'm a project manager and I've found it's been a really good experience overall. The community is challenging and there's always something going on.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a writer who relocated here from Seattle about 12 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Active local events and festivals
- Lots of family-friendly activities

Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Limited entertainment options

Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are affordable, gas is excellent.

Socially, it's been a really good experience overall. Happy to answer more specific questions..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is walkability. I genuinely enjoy living here. Worth doing your research before committing.
