Hello, I'm a teacher here and It's a a small town city with about 5,746 people. Crime rate is something to consider -Angier sits at 457.8 per 100K. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Thoughts? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.
