Healthcare options in Ann Arbor?

My partner and I are Crime rate is something to consider — Ann Arbor sits at 251.4 per 100K. Rent is about $1,552/month for a decent place. With a population of 121K, Ann Arbor is a mid-size city. Household incomes average around $81,089 in Ann Arbor. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Appreciate any input. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I've lived in Cedar Grove for about 15 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from Pittsburgh, I was surprised by traffic. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good healthcare facilities
- Four distinct seasons
- The public transit scene is decent

The downsides:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Limited high-paying job options

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for remote workers. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

Hot take but it's been a really good experience overall. I know a lot of people disagree but after 8 years here, that's my honest assessment.
