How much do you pay for rent in Anna?

Been meaning to ask this. I'm a remote worker and What neighborhoods would you suggest? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a accountant who relocated here from Minneapolis about 2 years ago. The main reasons were family and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Decent public transit for the size
- Four distinct seasons

Cons that are real:
- Nightlife is limited
- Homeless population growing downtown

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are affordable, gas is tough.

Socially, it exceeded my expectations. Definitely worth checking out..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want school system, then yeah this place is great. But if cultural scene matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

Weather-wise, the summers are surprisingly good and winters are growing. You get used to it after the first year.
