Alright, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and Crime rate is something to consider -Annandale sits at 130.5 per 100K. The median home value here is around $650,100, which is pretty steep. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Thoughts? Looking forward to hearing from you all. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

I'm a real estate agent who relocated here from Boston about 9 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and weather.
Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Strong sense of community
- Lots of family-friendly activities
Cons that are real:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Road conditions need improvement
Financially, we've found it surprisingly good compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are competitive, gas is pretty good.
Socially, I genuinely enjoy living here. No regrets on my end..
