Best and worst neighborhoods in Annapolis

Hello, I'm a remote worker and Average temperature is around 59--F, so the weather is moderate. Median household income is $104,257, which feels pretty solid for the area. Homes are going for about $510,200 on average. Household incomes average around $104,257 in Annapolis. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Has anyone dealt with this? Any help is appreciated. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The weather takes some getting used to. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a marketing manager who relocated here from Houston about 1 years ago. The main reasons were family and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Lots of new development happening
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Property taxes are high
- Dating scene is rough

Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are stable, gas is hit or miss.

Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a real estate agent who relocated here from Raleigh about 8 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and cost of living.

Pros I've experienced:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Active local events and festivals
- Diverse dining options

Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Urban sprawl is real

Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are pricey, gas is underrated.

Socially, there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Good luck with whatever you decide..

Used to live on the Pine Hills side, now on the Uptown side. Completely different vibe. it was the best decision I ever made.
