Rent in Anthony getting crazy

Anyone else feel this way? I'm a remote worker and Rent is about $646/month for a decent place. The median home value here is around $57,000, which is actually reasonable. With a population of 2,228, Anthony is a small town. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

Pros:
- Diverse community
- Low taxes
- Good internet infrastructure
- Plenty of shopping options

Cons:
- Traffic can be terrible
- Limited nightlife
- Boring for young people
- Limited cultural events
- Not enough green space
What neighborhoods would you suggest? The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

I work in tech here and it's not perfect but it works for me. The job market for my field is decent. Feel free to reach out with questions..
