What surprised you most about Anthony?

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.

I've been here 1 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is community vibe. It's stable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the outdoor recreation is legit. And if you're into kayaking, this place is average.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The West side vs the Cedar Grove side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. I genuinely enjoy living here. Compared to Charlotte it's hit or miss.

Came here for a fresh start and stayed because it was the best decision I ever made. The food scene is honestly excellent and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
