Rent vs buy in Antioch -what makes sense?

OK so I'm a college student here and Household incomes average around $94,256 in Antioch. Crime rate is something to consider -Antioch sits at 575.3 per 100K. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Is this normal for Antioch?

Public transit is decent here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it exceeded my expectations.
