So, I'm a remote worker and Homes are going for about $196,700 on average. Household incomes average around $58,619 in Apache Junction. You can expect to pay around $1,019 for rent here. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Any advice would be great. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Weather-wise, the summers are solid and winters are stable. You get used to it after the first year.

I work in legal here and I'm still on the fence after all this time. The job market for my field is surprisingly good. Hope this helps!.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem better than expected.
I've been here 7 years and it's improved dramatically in recent years. The thing nobody mentions is safety. It's reasonable and it affects daily life more than you'd think.
That said, the pet-friendliness is legit. And if you're into golfing, this place is pretty good.
Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Springfield side vs the Eastside side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a lawyer who relocated here from Raleigh about 2 years ago. The main reasons were cost of living and cost of living.
Pros I've experienced:
- Close to major attractions
- Affordable housing options
- Good airport with direct flights
Cons that are real:
- Urban sprawl is real
- Road conditions need improvement
Financially, we've found it underrated compared to where we came from. Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. Groceries are reasonable, gas is underrated.
Socially, I'm still on the fence after all this time. Definitely worth checking out..

Came here for family and stayed because it was the best decision I ever made. The healthcare is honestly pretty good and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
