Hey, Been living here since 2007. Rent is about $1,784/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 1.7%, which is pretty low. The unemployment rate is 2.8%, which is pretty low. Homes are going for about $514,800 on average. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Worth the trade-offs? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.
