Living in Apollo Beach -the reality

Random thought, Average temperature is around 73--F, so it's warm year-round. Homes are going for about $420,200 on average. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. What are your go-to spots? Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I've lived in Cedar Grove for about 14 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's not perfect but it works for me. When I first moved here from Denver, I was surprised by traffic. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Strong job market in several industries
- The nightlife scene is pretty good

The downsides:
- Not a lot of cultural diversity
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for couples. No regrets on my end..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is food scene. I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Worth doing your research before committing.
