What to expect moving to Apopka?

Anyone else feel this way? My partner and I are Poverty rate is 6.4%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $95,703 in Apopka. The suburbs are where most families end up. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The city has invested a lot in new development.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are hit or miss, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Weather-wise, the summers are challenging and winters are manageable. You get used to it after the first year.
