Best and worst neighborhoods in Apple Valley

Anyone else feel this way? Been living here since 2022. Household incomes average around $65,926 in Apple Valley. Homes are going for about $377,300 on average. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Anyone in a similar situation? The food scene here is surprisingly good. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

I work in marketing here and I genuinely enjoy living here. The job market for my field is challenging. Hope this helps!.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Atlanta and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Fairview. It's underrated for what you get.

Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in education. If you're in education you might struggle.

People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 18 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like Mexican.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
