Pros and cons of Apple Valley after 1 years

Not sure if this has been asked before, but It's a a smaller city city with about 55,696 people. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Looking forward to hearing from you all. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem surprisingly good.

I've been here 9 years and I genuinely enjoy living here. The thing nobody mentions is walkability. It's wild and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the healthcare is legit. And if you're into surfing, this place is surprisingly good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The North side vs the Lakewood side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
