Moving from Seattle to Appleton City next month

Hello, It's a a small town city with about 1,187 people. With a population of 1,187, Appleton City is a small town. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Has anyone dealt with this? Cheers. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

I've lived in Greenfield for about 14 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

the quality of life is solid. When I first moved here from Portland, I was surprised by school system. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Low crime in most neighborhoods
- Decent public transit for the size
- The healthcare scene is pretty good

The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Rising rent and home prices

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for remote workers. Give it a chance - it might surprise you..
