Considering Appleton vs Tucson -help me decide
Been meaning to ask this. I'm a remote worker and Average temperature is around 46--F, so expect cold winters. Crime rate is something to consider -Appleton sits at 275.6 per 100K. Homes are going for about $211,500 on average. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The suburbs are where most families end up. What do you all think? Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The city has invested a lot in new development. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.
