Moving to Aptos for work -advice?

Hey, The median home value here is around $1,098,200, which is pretty steep. Average temperature is around 59--F, so the weather is moderate. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Any help is appreciated.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem underrated.

I've been here 7 years and I love the pace of life here. The thing nobody mentions is pet-friendliness. It's competitive and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the safety is legit. And if you're into biking, this place is tough.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The West side vs the North side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The East side vs the Springfield side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is safety. I love the pace of life here. Worth doing your research before committing.
