Top 5 things I love about Arbutus

So, I grew up here but left for a while. Median household income is $97,215, which feels pretty solid for the area. The suburbs are where most families end up. Anyone in a similar situation? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

I've lived in Sunset for about 4 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it exceeded my expectations. When I first moved here from Seattle, I was surprised by traffic. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:

- Low crime in most neighborhoods

- Strong job market in several industries

- The cultural scene scene is hit or miss

The downsides:

- Can feel isolated

- Dating scene is rough

Overall I'd rate it 8/10 for families. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
