Things Archdale needs to improve

First post here. With a population of 11,992, Archdale is a small town. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Anyone in a similar situation? The city has invested a lot in new development. The food scene here is surprisingly good.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a accountant who relocated here from Chicago about 9 years ago. The main reasons were weather and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Good healthcare facilities
- Decent public transit for the size

Cons that are real:
- Dating scene is rough
- Limited entertainment options

Financially, we've found it better than expected compared to where we came from. If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. Groceries are established, gas is tough.

Socially, it's exactly what I was looking for. Hope this helps!.
