Pros and cons of Arden-Arcade after 10 years
Curious what people think. My partner and I are With a population of 96,319, Arden-Arcade is a smaller city. It's a a smaller city city with about 96,319 people. The unemployment rate is 4.9%, which is about average. Poverty rate is 14.2%, which is around average. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The weather takes some getting used to. The city has invested a lot in new development. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

- Walkable downtown
- Plenty of shopping options
- Good airport connections
Cons:
- Hot summers

- Mosquitoes and humidity
- Not enough green space
Thoughts? The suburbs are where most families end up. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The city has invested a lot in new development.
