What's it really like living in Ardmore?

Random thought, I'm a nurse at the local hospital and The unemployment rate is 3.0%, which is pretty low. Household incomes average around $52,954 in Ardmore. Crime rate is something to consider -Ardmore sits at 825.6 per 100K. You can expect to pay around $959 for rent here. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. I'd say it's better for families than young singles.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. the quality of life is solid. Compared to Tampa it's improving.

Public transit is tough here. You'll probably need a car for most things. it's been a really good experience overall.

Used to live on the Pine Hills side, now on the Meadowbrook side. Completely different vibe. I genuinely enjoy living here.

I've been living here for 13 years and I'd say it's exactly what I was looking for. The dating scene is hit or miss compared to other places I've lived. Overall Hope this helps!.

I work in government here and it's exactly what I was looking for. The job market for my field is pretty good. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..
