Weekend activities in Ardsley?

Anyone else feel this way? Born and raised here. Household incomes average around $250,001 in Ardsley. Homes are going for about $792,900 on average. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The weather takes some getting used to. What do you all think? Thanks for reading. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The weather takes some getting used to. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The suburbs are where most families end up. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a data analyst who relocated here from Salt Lake City about 14 years ago. The main reasons were school and my partner's job.

Pros I've experienced:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Lots of new development happening
- Strong sense of community

Cons that are real:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Homeless population growing downtown

Financially, we've found it challenging compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are competitive, gas is challenging.

Socially, it's not perfect but it works for me. Would recommend to anyone considering it..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from Chicago and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Eastside. It's solid for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in healthcare you might struggle.

People: Generally solid. It took about 17 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: decent. Tons of options if you like craft beer.

Give it a chance - it might surprise you..

I've lived in Midtown for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from Atlanta, I was surprised by healthcare. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Good healthcare facilities
- The housing market scene is decent

The downsides:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Rising rent and home prices

Overall I'd rate it 6/10 for singles. Hope this helps!.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Nashville and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Fairview. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in healthcare. If you're in education you might struggle.

People: Generally tough. It took about 13 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Indian.

Hope this helps!.

Bought a house here in 2019 and it's improved dramatically in recent years. Property values have gone about the same since then.
