Hey, It's a a small town city with about 10,316 people. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Property taxes are high but you get good services.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.
I'm a software engineer who relocated here from LA about 12 years ago. The main reasons were school and weather.
Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Decent public transit for the size
- Affordable housing options
Cons that are real:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Homeless population growing downtown
Financially, we've found it decent compared to where we came from. The market is competitive but not impossible. Groceries are reasonable, gas is challenging.
Socially, it was the best decision I ever made. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
