Arlington Heights is underrated, change my mind

Been meaning to ask this. Military spouse here. Median household income is $118,532, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's a a smaller city city with about 76,220 people. Rent is about $1,727/month for a decent place. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Property taxes are high but you get good services. Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, I genuinely enjoy living here. Feel free to reach out with questions..

We moved here with our family and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Schools in Midtown area are surprisingly good. Kids love it here.
