Co-working spaces in Arlington Heights?

Been meaning to ask this. You can expect to pay around $1,193 for rent here. Household incomes average around $67,386 in Arlington Heights. The suburbs are where most families end up. Thoughts? The suburbs are where most families end up. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a HR manager who relocated here from Tampa about 12 years ago. The main reasons were weather and a fresh start.

Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Good healthcare facilities
- Strong job market in several industries

Cons that are real:
- Limited shopping options
- Bugs and humidity in summer

Financially, we've found it excellent compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are wild, gas is decent.

Socially, I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. Definitely worth checking out..

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is school system. I genuinely enjoy living here. Worth doing your research before committing.

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.

Background: I'm a real estate agent, 32, moved here 3 years ago from Houston. I've lived in Downtown and South, and traveled to most parts of the metro.

**What I love:**
1. Great outdoor activities nearby
2. Lots of new development happening
3. Four distinct seasons
4. The people are generally excellent - I found my community within the first year

**What I don't love:**
1. Winters are long and cold
2. Dating scene is rough
3. The cost of living situation is competitive and doesn't seem to be improving

**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Downtown: Great for singles. solid vibes, walkable.
- South: More affordable, family-friendly.

**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.

**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Houston, everything felt decent. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are stable. Gas is stable. You can live comfortably on $40K-$130K here.

**Final verdict:**
Give it a chance - it might surprise you.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.

I've lived in Springfield for about 13 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from LA, I was surprised by outdoor recreation. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Cost of living is very reasonable
- Affordable housing options
- The food scene scene is tough

The downsides:
- Limited high-paying job options
- Not a lot of cultural diversity

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for couples. Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Came here for school and stayed because I have mixed feelings honestly. The walkability is honestly average and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
