Hey folks, I've been here for 19 years and Crime rate is something to consider -Arlington sits at 300.8 per 100K. Poverty rate is 4.1%, which is pretty low. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Am I wrong here? Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 13 years ago from Charlotte and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Westside. It's average for what you get.
Jobs: The market is developing right now, especially in marketing. If you're in construction you might struggle.
People: Generally decent. It took about 13 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: improving. Tons of options if you like Korean.
