Top 5 things I love about Arlington

First post here. I've been here for 13 years and Crime rate is something to consider — Arlington sits at 510.8 per 100K. You can expect to pay around $1,389 for rent here. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.

If you're remote, this place is great for cost of living. it's exactly what I was looking for. Internet is excellent in most areas.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from Phoenix and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Uptown. It's tough for what you get.

Jobs: The market is manageable right now, especially in tech. If you're in tech you might struggle.

People: Generally surprisingly good. It took about 3 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: decent. Tons of options if you like Korean.
