Commute times in Arlington — how bad?

First post here. Rent is about $2,275/month for a decent place. It's changing fast — some good, some not so much. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Am I wrong here? People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level.

The food scene here is average. Tons of great Mediterranean places. it's improved dramatically in recent years.
