I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a marketing manager who relocated here from Salt Lake City about 2 years ago. The main reasons were my partner's job and retirement.

Pros I've experienced:
- Nice parks and green spaces
- Decent public transit for the size
- Strong job market in several industries

Cons that are real:
- Dating scene is rough
- Limited entertainment options

Financially, we've found it solid compared to where we came from. Lots of new construction which should help. Groceries are pricey, gas is hit or miss.

Socially, I have mixed feelings honestly. It's not for everyone but it works for us..
