I've lived in Fairview for about 5 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it was the best decision I ever made. When I first moved here from Atlanta, I was surprised by community vibe. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Great outdoor activities nearby
- Strong job market in several industries
- The safety scene is hit or miss

The downsides:
- Not very walkable outside downtown
- Chain restaurants dominate

Overall I'd rate it 9/10 for young professionals. Happy to answer more specific questions..
