Best coffee shops in Artesia?

Military spouse here. Poverty rate is 6.0%, which is pretty low. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development.

I'd say the biggest thing people don't talk about is traffic. it exceeded my expectations. Worth doing your research before committing.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 6 years ago from Pittsburgh and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Buying is tough right now, renting is more reasonable. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Uptown. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in legal. If you're in tech you might struggle.

People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 6 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: excellent. Tons of options if you like farm-to-table.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..
