Best neighborhoods in Artesia

Not sure if this has been asked before, but Been living here since 2020. Median household income is $97,712, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Would love some local perspective. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. The suburbs are where most families end up. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 9 years ago from Denver and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Midtown. It's tough for what you get.

Jobs: The market is wild right now, especially in construction. If you're in manufacturing you might struggle.

People: Generally average. It took about 13 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: solid. Tons of options if you like seafood.

Happy to answer more specific questions..

Hot take but it was the best decision I ever made. I know a lot of people disagree but after 1 years here, that's my honest assessment.
