Job market in Artesia for tech?

Anyone else feel this way? I grew up here but left for a while. Crime rate is something to consider -Artesia sits at 429.1 per 100K. The median home value here is around $763,700, which is pretty steep. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development. Does this match your experience? There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. The suburbs are where most families end up. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Property taxes are high but you get good services. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The city has invested a lot in new development. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus.

Came here for family and stayed because it's exactly what I was looking for. The cultural scene is honestly better than expected and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

I've lived in East for about 12 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

I genuinely enjoy living here. When I first moved here from Charlotte, I was surprised by nightlife. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Good schools in most areas
- Good healthcare facilities
- The dating scene scene is solid

The downsides:
- Summers can be brutally hot
- Road conditions need improvement

Overall I'd rate it 7/10 for families. Definitely worth checking out..
