Curious what people think. I grew up here but left for a while. The unemployment rate is 4.8%, which is about average. Household incomes average around $19,820 in Arthurtown. Rent is about $874/month for a decent place. Median household income is $19,820, which feels on the lower side for the area. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Has anyone dealt with this? The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Property taxes are high but you get good services. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.
