Arvada housing prices — when will it stop?

Anyone else feel this way? You can expect to pay around $1,802 for rent here. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Is this normal for Arvada? Thanks in advance! It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. It's not perfect, but the community is solid.

Great question. I'll try to be comprehensive here.

I'm a pharmacist who relocated here from San Diego about 13 years ago. The main reasons were a job opportunity and work.

Pros I've experienced:
- Lots of new development happening
- Good internet infrastructure
- Affordable housing options

Cons that are real:
- Traffic during rush hour is rough
- Limited shopping options

Financially, we've found it improving compared to where we came from. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts. Groceries are stable, gas is average.
