Living in Asbury -the reality

Anyone else feel this way? I've been here for 18 years and It's a a small town city with about 5,949 people. You can expect to pay around $1,379 for rent here. Rent is about $1,379/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 48--F, so expect cold winters. The city has invested a lot in new development. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Anyone in a similar situation? Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The city has invested a lot in new development. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. People here are genuinely friendly, not just surface-level. The weather takes some getting used to. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 2-bedroom. I genuinely enjoy living here. Compared to Portland it's average.
