Best companies to work for in Ashburn?

Rent is about $651/month for a decent place. Average temperature is around 66--F, so the weather is moderate. The unemployment rate is 10.1%, which is concerning. The food scene here is surprisingly good. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Worth the trade-offs? Night life is decent if you know the right spots. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The weather takes some getting used to. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. Night life is decent if you know the right spots.

Hot take but there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. I know a lot of people disagree but after 2 years here, that's my honest assessment.

Gonna give a different perspective here since most replies seem hit or miss.

I've been here 13 years and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. The thing nobody mentions is job market. It's pricey and it affects daily life more than you'd think.

That said, the dating scene is legit. And if you're into mountain biking, this place is pretty good.

Neighborhood matters A LOT here. The Highland side vs the The Heights side are basically different cities. Make sure you visit both before deciding.

No regrets on my end..
