Anyone regret moving to Ashburn?

Hey, I'm a college student here and The median home value here is around $659,000, which is pretty steep. Rent is about $2,397/month for a decent place. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Has anyone dealt with this? There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods.

Came here for my partner's job and stayed because I genuinely enjoy living here. The weather is honestly hit or miss and I don't see that changing anytime soon.

Hot take but there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. I know a lot of people disagree but after 14 years here, that's my honest assessment.

I've lived in Eastside for about 6 years now, so I can give you a pretty detailed perspective.

it's exactly what I was looking for. When I first moved here from Denver, I was surprised by school system. It took some adjustment but now I wouldn't trade it.

A few things worth knowing:
- Affordable housing options
- Diverse dining options
- The housing market scene is pretty good

The downsides:
- Limited public transit options
- Chain restaurants dominate

Overall I'd rate it 5/10 for families. Definitely worth checking out..

As someone who grew up here, I love the pace of life here. A lot has changed in the past few years though. cultural scene used to be much manageable but now it's underrated.

Public transit is surprisingly good here. You'll probably need a car for most things. the quality of life is solid.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want weather, then yeah this place is great. But if pet-friendliness matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.
