Freelancing from Ashland -experience?

Median household income is $81,604, which feels pretty solid for the area. It's a a small town city with about 22,784 people. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. What neighborhoods would you suggest? Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The city has invested a lot in new development.

Weather-wise, the summers are hit or miss and winters are affordable. You get used to it after the first year.

Moved here from Charlotte about 2 years ago. I have mixed feelings honestly. Still getting used to traffic but It's not for everyone but it works for us..

We moved here with our family and it's been a really good experience overall. Schools in Oak Park area are solid. Kids love it here.

Used to live on the Midtown side, now on the Greenfield side. Completely different vibe. it's improved dramatically in recent years.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are hit or miss, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

I've been living here for 2 years and I'd say it's improved dramatically in recent years. The dating scene is pretty good compared to other places I've lived. Overall Feel free to reach out with questions..
