Best neighborhoods in Aspen

Longtime lurker here, I've been here for 8 years and Homes are going for about $1,375,000 on average. Crime rate is something to consider -Aspen sits at 120.6 per 100K. The food scene here is surprisingly good. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Has anyone dealt with this? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. The city has invested a lot in new development. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The suburbs are where most families end up. The city has invested a lot in new development. Property taxes are high but you get good services. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. The food scene here is surprisingly good.
