So, I relocated for work and Average temperature is around 56--F, so the weather is moderate. The unemployment rate is 4.8%, which is about average. Rent is about $1,925/month for a decent place. Poverty rate is 5.7%, which is pretty low. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Downtown has improved a lot in recent years. Would love some local perspective. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much.

My experience has been mostly positive. I genuinely enjoy living here. The only thing I'd watch out for is traffic. Other than that, It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want outdoor recreation, then yeah this place is great. But if healthcare matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 5 years ago from LA and here's my honest breakdown:
Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 4-bed in Uptown. It's average for what you get.
Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in construction. If you're in education you might struggle.
People: Generally hit or miss. It took about 15 months to build a solid friend group.
Food: solid. Tons of options if you like craft beer.
