Housing market in Aspen Hill right now

OK so I'm a nurse at the local hospital and With a population of 53,752, Aspen Hill is a smaller city. The food scene here is surprisingly good. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 7 years ago from Portland and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: If you look outside the main areas you can find deals. We're paying /mo for a 2-bed in Eastside. It's improving for what you get.

Jobs: The market is established right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in retail you might struggle.

People: Generally solid. It took about 11 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: underrated. Tons of options if you like Asian.

Definitely worth checking out..
