Hi all, I'm a 28-year-old contractor and Median household income is $51,655, which feels on the lower side for the area. With a population of 127K, Athens-Clarke County is a mid-size city. Night life is decent if you know the right spots. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. The city has invested a lot in new development. What are your go-to spots? Any help is appreciated. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Honestly, I think it's a great place if you know where to look.
