Alright, The median home value here is around $165,300, which is actually reasonable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Worth the trade-offs? It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that.

Renting here right now, paying about /mo for a 4-bedroom. I love the pace of life here. Compared to Denver it's pretty good.

I've been living here for 2 years and I'd say it's been a really good experience overall. The cultural scene is tough compared to other places I've lived. Overall Would recommend to anyone considering it..

Weather-wise, the summers are excellent and winters are stable. You get used to it after the first year.

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want job market, then yeah this place is great. But if safety matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

OK I'm going to write a proper review because I've seen too many incomplete answers.
Background: I'm a electrician, 31, moved here 14 years ago from Seattle. I've lived in Greenfield and Downtown, and traveled to most parts of the metro.
**What I love:**
1. Good schools in most areas
2. Low crime in most neighborhoods
3. Diverse dining options
4. The people are generally decent - I found my community within the first year
**What I don't love:**
1. Road conditions need improvement
2. Bugs and humidity in summer
3. The safety situation is reasonable and doesn't seem to be improving
**Neighborhoods I'd recommend:**
- Greenfield: Great for remote workers. average vibes, walkable.
- Downtown: More affordable, family-friendly.
**Neighborhoods I'd avoid:**
- Without naming names, stay away from areas east of downtown until you know the city better.
**Cost comparison:**
Coming from Seattle, everything felt solid. Rent is about /mo. Groceries are developing. Gas is affordable. You can live comfortably on $90K-$140K here.
**Final verdict:**
Good luck with whatever you decide.. It's not perfect - nowhere is - but for the price point and quality of life, it's hard to beat. DM me if you have specific questions.
