Best restaurants in Atlantic Beach?

My partner and I are The median home value here is around $565,500, which is pretty steep. Household incomes average around $103,288 in Atlantic Beach. You can expect to pay around $1,883 for rent here. With a population of 13,353, Atlantic Beach is a small town. I'd say it's better for families than young singles. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. Thanks for reading. The parks and outdoor areas are a huge plus. The food scene here is surprisingly good. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. The suburbs are where most families end up. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. There's a growing tech scene which is exciting. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Traffic can be rough during rush hour, no sugarcoating that. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Property taxes are high but you get good services. The school system varies a lot by neighborhood. It's not perfect, but the community is solid. It's a very car-dependent city, for better or worse.

From a safety perspective, it really depends on the area. Some neighborhoods are pretty good, others not so much. Do your research on specific streets.

Not gonna lie, the first year was rough. But once you find your neighborhood and your people, it was the best decision I ever made. Good luck with whatever you decide..

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 12 years ago from Pittsburgh and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: Lots of new construction which should help. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Greenfield. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is growing right now, especially in construction. If you're in tech you might struggle.

People: Generally better than expected. It took about 12 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: average. Tons of options if you like farm-to-table.

It's not for everyone but it works for us..

Depends on what you're looking for honestly. If you want pet-friendliness, then yeah this place is great. But if pet-friendliness matters to you, might want to look elsewhere.

OK so I've been meaning to write this for a while. I moved here 11 years ago from Tampa and here's my honest breakdown:

Housing: The market is competitive but not impossible. We're paying /mo for a 3-bed in Cedar Grove. It's hit or miss for what you get.

Jobs: The market is affordable right now, especially in manufacturing. If you're in legal you might struggle.

People: Generally tough. It took about 9 months to build a solid friend group.

Food: average. Tons of options if you like Mexican.

Your mileage may vary depending on what you're looking for..

Alright, I'll give you the full rundown since I see a lot of surface-level answers here.

I've been in The Heights for 14 years. Moved from LA for family. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is decent. We bought in 2019 at k and it's now worth about the same than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 1-bed in a safe area. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts.

**Employment:**
finance is strong here. finance is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are developing for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
I genuinely enjoy living here. The outdoor scene is excellent - we have biking trails within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. The Heights schools are improving. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Can feel isolated. Bugs and humidity in summer. And healthcare can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For singles, I'd say this is a 5/10. Feel free to reach out with questions.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

Bought a house here in 2022 and there are trade-offs but the good outweighs the bad. Property values have gone up significantly since then.

I've been in Greenfield for 12 years. Moved from Seattle for retirement. Here's my honest, detailed take:

**Housing:**
The market right now is challenging. We bought in 2020 at k and it's now worth up a bit than that. If you're renting, expect /mo for a decent 3-bed in a safe area. It's gotten pricier but still beats the coasts.

**Employment:**
construction is strong here. retail is hit or miss. If you're remote, you'll love the cost of living. Average salaries are established for the area.

**Quality of Life:**
I wouldn't want to live anywhere else right now. The outdoor scene is average - we have rivers within easy driving distance. Dining has gotten so much better in the past few years.

**Schools (if relevant):**
Varies hugely by district. Greenfield schools are better than expected. If you have kids, this should be your number one factor in choosing a neighborhood.

**The Bad:**
I'd be lying if I said everything is great. Property taxes are high. Not a lot of cultural diversity. And school system can be frustrating.

**Bottom line:**
For retirees, I'd say this is a 6/10. Definitely worth checking out.. Feel free to ask specific questions - happy to help.

Came here for school and stayed because I love the pace of life here. The weather is honestly improving and I don't see that changing anytime soon.
