So, I'm single, late 40s, and The unemployment rate is 3.9%, which is pretty low. Poverty rate is 26.7%, which is higher than I expected. Cost of living is definitely rising, but still manageable. It's changing fast -some good, some not so much. Anyone in a similar situation? It's not perfect, but the community is solid. There's a real sense of community in certain neighborhoods. Public transit needs a lot of work honestly.

I'm a nurse and I've found it was the best decision I ever made. The community is pretty good and there's always something going on.

As someone who grew up here, I'm still on the fence after all this time. A lot has changed in the past few years though. public transit used to be much manageable but now it's decent.

Weather-wise, the summers are average and winters are reasonable. You get used to it after the first year.
